Press Release: Sea IT’s latest BlueCORE System installed on Oldendorff Carriers Bulk Carrier Fleet
Gothenburg, Sweden February 2025:
Sea IT is proud to announce the upgrade of Oldendorff Carriers’ fleet of bulk vessels to the latest version of our industry-leading BlueCORE system.
Since 2017, Sea IT has partnered with Oldendorff Carriers, to initially deliver a hybrid IT platform, enabling efficient operations and ensuring reliable connectivity at sea. The new BlueCORE enhances system performance and provides the flexibility to integrate future maritime technologies – critical for Oldendorff’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological innovations in the industry.
Enhanced Capabilities with BlueCORE
The BlueCORE system is designed to meet the complex demands of modern maritime operations, building on the success of earlier generations. It delivers enhanced operational efficiency through advanced automation features that optimize data management and ship-to-shore communication, streamlining workflows for onboard personnel. Additionally, improved cybersecurity protocols ensure robust protection against evolving cyber threats, a key concern for Oldendorff’s global fleet.
The system’s scalability allows seamless integration with future maritime technologies. Reliable connectivity is another cornerstone, with enhanced bandwidth management to ensure stable, fast communication between vessels and shore-based teams. The system also offers visual integration through onboard dashboards and land-based portals, allowing company-wide monitoring of fleet performance, OT systems, cameras, and security status in real time.
