GOTHENBURG, Sweden – – Sea IT has signed a 2 year Fixed BlueCORE ICT agreement for all vessels operated by Ektank. The agreement comprises service and support of the previous installation of BlueCORE™, an ICT platform specifically developed for the demanding conditions in the marine industry.
Ektank currently controls and operates five modern tankers in the range from 13.700 DWT to 17.500 DWT. The tankers are mainly trading in northern Europe with refined oil products. All ships are built for rough conditions in the Baltic Sea and are equipped with high class 1A.

Operating BlueCORE on our vessels along with a supporting Fixed BlueCORE ICT service agreement is consistent with our quality management. It guarantees that we conduct services ashore and at sea with highest quality, safety and environmental standards.The newest investment in the fleet is M/T EKFJORD, DWT 17.006 which was built in Turkey and delivered to Ektank AB in 2010. The tanker is built with the latest technology to optimize carriages of crude, HFO, petroleum and chemicals.
Ektank operates the vessels EKEN, EKFORS, EK-SKY, EK-STAR and EKFJORD.
