In shipping it is becoming more and more clear that regulations and requirements are
increasing. They are also becoming more detailed and demanding. At Sea IT we have
always followed industry standards closely and made it our focus to stay ahead of the
curve, both when it comes to security and usability.
Right now, we see two things happening at the same time. On one side new regulatory
frameworks such as NIS2 are putting higher expectations on how we handle our sys
tems and processes. On the other side our customers are asking for an easier way to see,
access, and understand what IT hardware they have onboard, the hardware that keeps
daily operations running.
To meet these needs, we are constantly developing our products. One of the things we
are working on right now is the Hardware List, a new part of our Sea IT Portal. With it shi
powners and operators will get a clear and visual overview of the IT hardware onboard
their vessels, which makes compliance and operational control much easier.

With the Sea IT Portal and our new Hardware List you don’t just get compliance, you get
control. A complete, visual, and always accessible overview of your vessel IT that turns
regulations from a burden into a competitive advantage.
The future of maritime IT is already here. The only question is, are you ready to be ahead
of the curve with us
