Behind the scenes – our staging environment

This week we want to share something we are real proud of. Last year we built a brand
new staging environment, and now we have really started to put it to use. Here we
build, configure, and verify our systems before they are delivered to the vessels.
Our goal is simple. For every hour we spend here, we
save at least two hours onboard. That means less time in
port and smoother installations.

By preparing as much as possible in advance we adapt to
the reality onboard. Vessels often have short and inten
se port stays and we want to be as efficient as possible
when our BlueCORE systems go live.
This approach also brings clear benefits for our staging
technicians and, in the end, for our customers who recei
ve a higher quality delivery to their vessels.
The pictures show what our staging environment looks
like right now. A room full of racks, cabling, and equip
ment that makes us feel we are really making a difference
for our customers at sea.
